My Journey to Wellness

tiffany stiverHi there, I’m Tiffany Stiver. I’m a holistic health coach, oil lover, healthcare change-maker, a mindful mama and yogini. I believe that even though we all have different lifestyles and constitutions, there is an effective wellness strategy for every person and I am committed to helping you discover yours.

In 2017, I became a certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. In my studies, I learned over 100 different dietary theories and practical lifestyle coaching methods to help others on their journey to wellness. It is truly my greatest joy to give back in this way and to help my family and clients find the balance to live a fulfilling life.

I began my personal health journey after being diagnosed with thyroid disease over 20 years ago. Several doctors told me to “just take this pill for the rest of your life” without any natural lifestyle suggestions and I didn’t buy that was all that could be done. After many years of struggling with different issues, I experimented with new strategies to address my symptoms naturally on my own. I began to notice and understand that there was a direct correlation between several factors: (real) food, lifestyle and consciousness.

Once I became balanced in these areas, my health improved dramatically. I always knew I could eat better and that what you put into your body was important; but I began to see and feel for myself the connection between all of it. I became inspired to practice and share the wisdom of holistic health and that changed everything for me.

I became a certified yoga instructor after falling in love with how it made me feel. In hindsight, I’m not sure how I made it over 20 years without ever learning how to truly breathe! Slowing down and tuning in was just the medicine I needed to get in touch with myself and learn to listen to my unique needs.

I became a mother in 2014 and again in 2016. I have made slowing down and self-care top priorities in order to wholeheartedly tend to my littles. I also have discovered how my needs have changed over the years and that learning to tune into my body’s needs is imperative to improved health.

After working for over 12 years as an elementary school teacher, I felt a calling to shift my focus of helping others by pursuing my passion for holistic healing. I want to help people navigate this journey, as I know from experience that it can be hard to do on one’s own.

In my coaching practice, I combine the health coaching methods I learned through IIN with the wisdom I’ve learned from yoga and my own journey to wellness to help my clients discover healing habits and lifestyle shifts that help them to go from surviving to thriving.
